Some years ago, after the birth of my first child, I experienced post-natal depression. Anyone who's been through this knows it is very distressing... I felt so alone and couldn't really tell anyone because I felt I was being an unnatural mother.

It was devastating when it should have been such a joyous time. When I met Easton Hamilton and engaged with The Reach Approach I was finally able to let go of the pain and guilt of those early years of motherhood which I had been carrying way beyond the post-natal depression itself. I finally came to understand both the psychological and the biological processes that lead to post-natal depression and I was able to forgive myself and no longer allow the cloud of regret to hover over my relationship with my eldest son.

I wanted to write this for anyone who has been in a similar position to me and recommend taking a look at It is packed with useful information I find myself spending hours on there, reading, listening and watching and combined with my therapy, it's provided me with the complete package. The Reach Approach really is a holistic model that addresses all the different 'bits' of the self and one's life.

I will be eternally grateful to this great organization and to Easton for his patience, wisdom and kindness.
